GPS Vehicle/Pet Tracking
The R-CT-2 Mini-Tracker is a fully certified
quad-band integrated GPS tracking device that provides complete GSM/GPRS functionality for
mobile tracking applications. It’s integrated GPS/A-GPS capabilities include tracking
of up to 14 satellites and location reporting through GPRS. Real Time (5 Seconds) updates
are available through the Covert Track tracking service. The Mini-Tracker reports exact
location, speed, & battery level in real-time. The R-CT-2 also has a panic button
which will enable the user to transmit an alert instantly to any cell phone or email
address with the touch of a button.
The Technology:
With the GPS-Assist option, the R-CT-2
links to the Worldwide Reference Network (WWRN) which has Triple-redundant coverage of the
GPS constellation by using reference stations on every continent. The WWRN sees all the
satellites, all the time, and exceeds 99.999% uptime. It provides AGPS information to the
R-CT-2 in the form of Long Term Orbits (LTO) data. LTO delivers satellite orbit data to
the R-CT-2 for 7 days in advance. This assists the R-CT-2 in eliminating the time to
"acquire satellites" from orbit directly. This speeds TTFF (time to first fix)
from minutes to seconds, and enables operation in urban, indoor, & obstructed
environments where traditional GPS commonly fails.

GPS Pet Tracking
The R-CT-1 uses the most advanced location
techniques available to determine the location of an asset. The R-CT-1 enables the
operator to obtain a location fix inside buildings, parking garages, and other dense urban
areas. There is no external antenna needed and the device does not need to “see the
sky” as normal GPS devices do. The R-CT-1 will work inside the trunk of a vehicle, in
armored vehicles, indoors, and other locations where a standard GPS device would fail. The
R-CT-1 will also defeat many of the GPS jammers that are now on the market. How Does it
Work? When the R-CT-1 is requested to report it’s position, it attempts to obtain a
fix using GPS satellites. If it is unable to obtain a GPS fix due to the device being
inside a building or under metal, it reverts to cell tower triangulation mode. It will
then automatically determine its position by triangulation with Sprint cellular towers in
the area using AFLT (Advanced Forward Link Triangulation) This whole process is normally
done in under 10 seconds. The device is also always on, so it can be “polled”
any time. Reports are then transmitted to a web site where the user can determine the
location of the asset. The unit cost is $599.00, one time $59.99 activation fee, and
